Our Great Mother Earth
I experienced the presence of Hildegard for the first time in the spring of 1999. When it happened, I was pretty surprised. I had been in deep meditation and prior had offered myself ( in prayer) in service to the Divine. And then, WHAM. Never did I think I was going to get taken up on the offer right away. I experienced the presence of three beings, all female – The Blessed Mother, Hildegard and The Goddess (specifically Oestre). They were Love and Love of Life in female form – So full of joy, so full of Love and zest for the Earth and all that is alive here. I was awestruck, as anyone would be, and so grateful to be part of them, even for a what seemed a brief time.
The important points I want to make to EVERYONE here are: (1) Invite Divine to work through you (2) Practice meditation – it opens that window within our soul for Divine to come through (3) Be prepared to be surprised – Divine takes many forms (4) Please do this – your love is needed to heal our world. Hear the beat – Calistrophe! – the Song of the Earth.
Keeping with this same thought, I’ve been reading a book called A CALL TO POWER:THE GRANDMOTHERS SPEAK By Sharon McErlane. Sharon had a similar WHAM moment with Divine who appeared to her as a group of Grandmothers in Spirit. She was taking her morning walk around the neighborhood when she had her first encounter (again, be prepared to be surprised). Her work with the Grandmothers has developed into a worldwide effort of largely women gathering in “grandmother groups” to pray, open and visualize a loving “net of light” around the world that is bringing healing, feminine energy to the Earth plane to restore balance.
I would love to quote the whole book, but here is a message from the Grandmothers and The Great Mother that Sharon has brought forward for us that says what we need to understand so beautifully and simply:
“We are not separate from God, we are at one with God. God takes different forms at different times to give the lessons and gifts of the moment. We have come now (the Grandmothers are talking and the Great Mother is nodding) and our lesson for this time is the restoration of the feminine principle into correct, abiding balance with the male principle. We infuse life and energy into yin (feminine energy), which has become deficient and is now filling. And we take the form that would be understood to do this work. We come as the Grandmothers, as the Great Council of the Grandmothers.”
Great Mother continued, “This work is bringing this consciousness into the earth in ribbons of light. This is taking place just as it should be”.
She then said,”The act of worship creates a separation between worshiper and worshipped. It limits the ability of the Divine to enter in and act in human lives. You are to think of becoming ONE with me. If you do this, I can begin to work THROUGH you. Invite me. You can no longer afford the delusion that you are separate from God. As you begin to relate to the Divine in this new way you will help to rescue your planet”.
This is also Hildegard’s work. Her words are meant to heal and transform us as vessels for the Divine. We are called. Hear the beat that is our Heart Song joining with that of the Earth to create Calistrophe – the Song of the Earth.
